The Cessnock Community of Great Public Schools bring you the latest Film by… student film festival.

Starting with Film by the Sea - a small short film festival in Sydney’s South in 2011, Film by… has now extended across the state to include 18 communities of student filmmakers. The Film by… initiative aims to support schools to celebrate learning through positive engagement and collaborative practice to link with hands on learning opportunities in the classroom.

Films this year include the collaborative efforts of ten of our local schools and over 120 students. With the first two planned festivals cancelled due to COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021, it will well and truly be worth the wait!
