Everyone is welcome at PACC. We are committed to providing equal access for all to ensure that everyone can fully participate in and enjoy the arts.

Companion Card

Companion card holders are entitled to a ticket at a concession rate (if applicable) and carers entrance is free. A companion card must be presented at the time of booking or upon collection of tickets.

Seating requests

Patrons requiring wheelchair access or with mobility concerns are encouraged to contact the PACC Box Office at the time of booking their seats, as accessible seating requests cannot be secured online.

To book accessible seating, email pacc@cessnock.nsw.gov.au or call the Box Office on (02) 4993 4266.

Stairs

We encourage patrons with mobility concerns to book seating in the stalls, as the tiered section requires navigating a staircase. Both sides of the auditorium are fitted with railings to assist patrons moving up and down the stairs.

Venue access

Entrances to the venue are accessible by ramps, and elevator lifts are available within the building. Accessible toilets are located on both floors of the venue. The stage is also equipped with a wheelchair lift.

Parking

Seventy car spaces (including four accessible spaces) are available and the car park is well lit at night. The entrance is via Cumberland Street and parking is free of charge.

Assisted listening systems

The auditorium is equipped with an induction hearing loop compatible with T-switch hearing aids.

Vision

Where possible, all signage in the venue includes Braille to assist patrons who have sight impairments.

Dogs

We welcome guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs.

Social Stories

A social story serves as a helpful guide for individuals, aiding them in understanding their surroundings and preparing for positive experiences, particularly in unfamiliar environments. By outlining what to expect and how to navigate unfamiliar situations, social stories empower individuals to feel more confident and capable. They are commonly utilised by individuals on the autism spectrum, children with sensory sensitivities, and others with unique needs.
