As the winter chill sets in across the Hunter, PACC Art Gallery is calling on artists to bring the warmth of creativity to life in its upcoming Mid-Winter Fundraiser Exhibition this July.
This open call invites artists of all ages, mediums and skill levels to respond to the contrasts of the season—exploring themes from frosty mornings and stark landscapes to the sparks of inspiration, comfort and connection that carry us through winter.
The exhibition will bring together a diverse range of artworks, celebrating the region’s creative spirit while connecting artists, art lovers and the broader community. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase unique pieces, with proceeds directly supporting future creative programs and exhibition opportunities at PACC. A People’s Choice Award will also give audiences the chance to vote for their favourite work.
Participating artists will have the opportunity to exhibit alongside a wide range of regional creatives, share their work with the community, and contribute to an exhibition that celebrates creativity and warmth during the colder months.
Artists interested in taking part will receive full submission details, including key dates and delivery information, upon application. A $25 entry fee per artwork applies, with a maximum of two entries per artist.
Works selected for sale will be subject to a 30% commission, with proceeds supporting PACC’s ongoing commitment to accessible and engaging cultural experiences for the community. The remaining 70% of the sale price will be returned to the artist.
PACC warmly encourages creatives of all experience levels to get involved in this special community-focused exhibition.
