What’s a Junk Journal?
A junk journal is a handmade book created from recycled and found materials—think old envelopes, cereal boxes, vintage magazines, fabric scraps, broken jewellery, buttons, lace, and more. They can be used for writing, drawing, memory-keeping, or given as beautiful, one-of-a-kind gifts.
When: Saturday 7th of June 10:30 – 12:30am and / or Tuesday 10th of June 10:30 – 12:30am
Time: 2-hour one-off session
Cost: $15 workshop fee + $15 materials
Bring: Everything will be supplied in the workshop as it is a beginner friendly Junk journal class but feel free to bring your own bits & bobs if you like—photos, old papers, fabric scraps, trinkets—anything you'd love to repurpose! Please bring your own scissors if you prefer.
Age: This type of craft is suitable for 16yrs plus.
This beginner-friendly session is a gentle, relaxed introduction to junk journaling. Whether you're a total newbie or curious crafter, you'll leave with a journal started and plenty of inspiration. There’s potential for longer, more in-depth courses in the future—this is just the beginning!
